Pagsanjan Falls, also known as Cavinti Falls (local name: Magdapio Falls) is one of the most famous waterfalls in the Philippines. Located in the province of Laguna, the falls is one of the major tourist attractions of the region. The three-drop waterfall is reached by a river trip on dugout canoe, known locally as Shooting the rapids, originating from the municipality of Pagsanjan. The falls can also be reached from the top by a short hike from Cavinti.

Pagsanjan is 92kms drive from Manila by road. Though distance is less, it will take 3hours to reach due to traffic at Las banos. Ideal time to visit Pagsanjan falls is between oct-may. June-sept is rainy season in south Luzon and cancellation of boats is frequent if there is high current due to heavy rains in upstream. We would strong recommend doing boat ride from pagsanjan town instead of shortcut route inorder to have great boat ride experience while shooting the rapids. You will have to pay 1350/person as registration-boat-environmental fees. Boat mans ability to navigate the boat upstream against the strong current between the rocks is the USP. You will experience 16 rapids along the way before you reach main water falls. Waterfall height is estimated 100feets. Carry some extra cash (specially small bills) as boatmen will request for a tip, which they really deserve.

You can leave your belongings in the vehicle. At loading station you can also buy pouch for your gadgets and also slippers and shorts for convenience.
