Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif addressed the inauguration ceremony of the Iqbal Flyover and the Islamabad Expressway Signal-Free Corridor, highlighting key achievements in urban infrastructure development.
The Prime Minister congratulated the project team for completing the initiative in record time and emphasized that such projects are designed to ease traffic flow, enhance connectivity, and provide modern commuting facilities to the public.
Reviewing development progress, PM Shehbaz Sharif noted that numerous flyovers, underpasses, interchanges, and public transport projects have been completed over the past year and a half, transforming mobility across Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
He reaffirmed that infrastructure development remains a cornerstone of the government’s agenda to improve the quality of life, boost economic activity, and build a modern capital city.
