John Petrucci Inspired Alternate Picking Run - Learn this?

It definitely comes from my teenage years practicing this sort of alternate picking stuff inspired by John Petrucci. Once you organise the pattern/sequence, it's quite a good idea to move this around the 3 note per string scales and this can double up as being a good way to help improve your fretboard knowledge!
