I dare to say this us the most delicious, moist, buttery, easy and best cornbread Recipe I have ever made or tasted. You've got to try it!
Let me not blow my trumpet, but I am very positive that there will be great feedbacks!
Here are the list of Ingredients
1½ cup yellow cornmeal
1 cup All Purpose Flour
2 tspn baking powder
1 tspn baking soda
8 tablespoons granulated sugar NOTE tou can increase or reduce to tour preference
1½ tspn sea salt
1⅓ cup buttermilk room temperature
2 large eggs room temperature
1½ sticks melted butter
Butter to brush cornbread after baking
If using an 8" cast iron skillet
Here's half the Recipe
¾ cup yellow cornmeal
½ cup APF
1 tspn baking powder
½ tspn baking soda
4 tablespoons granulated sugar or less to your taste
¾tspn sea salt
½+2tablespoons buttermilk room temp
1 large egg room temp
6 tablespoons melted butter
Butter to brush when out of the oven
Bake at 400⁰f for 18 to 20mins
NOTE
Make sure to check at 15mins, because all ovens are different
You can use a 9" Cast iron skillet
Preheat cast iron skillet at least for 10 minutes before adding batter
Do not over mix!!!
