The latest news is coming in from Mumbai, where the reopening of schools has been postponed once again. BMC has ordered to change the dates to reopen the school from 1st December to 15th of December. This came amid the view of the emergence of the new covid variant that is spooking India. Several cases of the Omicron variant have been registered in different countries and, India is already on alert mode regarding this new variant. Two returnees from South Africa have been found infected with covid-19 and, final reports are yet to come that will confirm if the cases are of Omicron or not.
