Nicola Valley Institute of Technology | MyNVIT

Описание: Directed, produced, and edited by One Island Media. Video production in Victoria B.C.

The Nicola Valley Institute of Technology (NVIT) is a space for indigenous students to thrive and learn. “We teach our students to navigate the academic world by having a textbook in one hand and a hand drum in the other,” shares Sue Sterling-Burr. “This ensures that they learn the western societal ways and also the indigenous ways of knowing, being, and doing.

We worked with NVIT to capture the school’s spark in an “About Us” style video. We interviewed many stakeholders to get a well-rounded impression of what the school has to offer to its students, staff, and community.
