Drawa Drache for the red Dorje Drolo Stupa @ Pema Osel Ling

Описание: Recently Lama Tharchin Rinpoche designed an ornament for the bumpa section of the red Dorje Drolo Stupa at Pema Osel Ling. The bumpa section is the round part in the middle of the stupa. The ornament is a traditional ornament called drawa dra che, which means a net of ornamentation. This drawa dra che is a unique design consisting of eight wrathful sculpture faces called dzipata. Dzipata is liken to a Tibetan version of a gargoyle, in this case, symbolizing the suppression of negative energy. The dzipata will be connected by sculpted net as you see in this photo video. Artist working with Lama Tharchin Rinpoche is Lama Purbha.
