Simplified Recipe:
LEMONDROP SMASH
5 KG 2-Row
Mash for 1HR @ 154 F with recirculation
1 HR Boil with the following additions:
60 mins - 20g Lemondrop
15 mins - 1 Whirlfloc tablet
10 mins - 10g Lemondrop
5 mins - 28g Lemondrop
Cool to 176 F or 80 C
Add 20g Lemondrop and stir in. (Whirlpool)
Let sit for 20 mins
Cool using your own method and transfer to fermenter
Add yeast of your choice. US 05 is an option or re-use healthy yeast
Add 30g of Lemondrop after primary fermentation has subsided. Let sit for 3 to 5 days then rack to secondary. Bottle or keg as you normally do after that.
