Kyatanamakki:
Kyatanamakki hill station is located near Horanadu of Chikmagalur district of Karnataka. Kyatanamakki is a fully off road route 4x4 jeep plays around the hill base to top and offers a superb scenic beauty on top of the hill. It is located about 20 Km from Kalasa.

Horanadu lies amidst Malnad at a distance of 126 km from Mangaluru and 316 km from Bengaluru. Distance from Sringeri is 75 km. Direct buses run from Bengaluru to Horanadu every day. Bus services are provided by both KSRTC and private companies. The nearest airport is Mangalore International Airport.

Ambatheertha:
Amba Theertha is one of Kalasa town’s five water spots or Panchatheertha, famed for its pristine waters and picture postcard beauty. Its understated beauty is to be experienced to be believed with its huge variety of whirlpools, a large suspension bridge and in the distance – the imposing Western Ghats and the rivers Tunga and Bhadra. Such a perfect setting for a quick getaway, an offbeat honeymoon or a family holiday, you’ll soon agree.

Soormane falls:
Soormane Falls is a barely explored waterfall at kalasa, a taluk in chikkamagaluru district in karnataka, west of Rudrapada. It is known as the hiddem gem of kalasa.

It is one of the best tourist attraction in Chikkamagaluru. The waterfalls amid rocks from about 40 feet and surrounded by such a serene content. Monsoon days are the best time to visit here.
