The climb took me past granite cliffs and quiet tarns, each step bringing thinner air and wider views.
As I gained elevation, the rugged landscape opened into sweeping vistas across the Sierra Nevada Mountains, each pause a reminder of why I seek out these wild places. The pass itself offered a view unlike any other — a window into the high country’s beauty and solitude.
