The Hawks in Limpopo say investigations into corruption at various municipalities are at an advanced stage, and arrests may be effected soon.
There have been social media posts of allegations of municipal officials and political heads awarding tenders to their associates and receiving kickbacks at the Polokwane and Mogalakwena municipalities. The Hawks are awaiting directives from the NPA on a way forward. Pimani Baloyi visited several projects in both municipalities and filed this report.
