Church Cove is situated at the very far southern tip of Britain, at the end of the Lizard peninsula in Cornwall, around a mile east of Lizard Village, the most southerly village in Britain.
Church Cove stretches down from St Wynwallow's Church at Landewednack to the rocky cove below. Between the church and the cove are thatched and stone cottages, which line the one road in and out of the village. A steep slipway gives access to the sea from Church Cove. The slipway is used for launching boats, and boats can be seen at the top of it. The coast path runs through Church Cove, where it leads to Lizard Point in one direction and Cadgwith in the other.
