Intiman/Haushahn Traction Glass Elevator at Kings Doninion Eiffel Tower Doswell Virginia

Описание: Taking a ride on the 1975 Haushahn scenic elevator to the top of the 275 feet observation deck at Kings Dominions Eiffel Tower replica. The tower was designed in Austria. Video was recorded in July 2021.
This was taken few weeks after visiting Kings a island in Cincinnati Ohio which has an similar tower that I filmed last year in 2020.


Both towers are the same height and same color, same square footage and almost an exact replica.
Few differences between the tower towers.

Kings island elevators are painted red while kings dominions are stainless steel.

Kings island uses Adams survivor buttons while kings dominion uses these weird industrial AB buttons.

Kings island also has glass door panels on the car door while kings dominion elevators are solid.

Although both elevators were installed by the same company, each has different door locking equipment.

Kings dominion has a speaker for the attendant as Kings island does not (or they never use it).

Both elevators are ran in manual operation which means they do not respond to calls and will only open and close with the door controls. Similar to fire service but does not require constant pressure.
Both elevators had speed control in the car and will be adjusted based on the wind that day.
