In this video I share a game I played about 1.5 years ago — featuring a beautiful queen sacrifice and a surprising checkmate attack.
I recently became a Candidate Master, and this is one of my favorite attacking games. Playing the Open Sicilian with the English Attack, I misplayed the opening and ended up in serious trouble. But instead of defending passively, I created counterplay and found a brilliant tactical idea that led to a forced mate.
