Monte Montgomery -

Monte Montgomery moved to Texas at the age of 12 to live with his mother, a singer/songwriter who obviously had a large influence on him. In 1999 he delivered an incredible performance on the Austin City Limits PBS television show which gained him national notoriety. He has also won the Guitar Player magazine's "Best Acoustic Guitar Player" award seven years running.
