Описание: Framily Vacation 2023 edition. This time we got to spend 7 days in Puerto Vallarta at the Sunset Plaza Beach Resort & Spa. This was a small, quaint resort with probably the friendliest staff. Shout out to the best personal butler Raymundo for making our vacation extra special for our 2 very important celebrations that you’ll see in this video

Resort Highlights:

Staff:
From giving you a cool towel when you walk in, to literally remembering our entire 10 person party by first names right away, the staff here makes sure everyone is enjoying their time at the resort. 10 out of 10.

Food:
This is a smaller resort with one main sit down restaurant for breakfast/lunch/dinne. Option wise is little more limited. The Italian restaurant Lucianos is superb and requires reservations so be sure to dine there at least once. Pizzas here were great (wood fire) and made to order. Make sure you get a scoop of the ice-cream in the pizza shop. The Bakery and Cafe is EXCELLENT with so many choices!!!! We could not get enough of the tarts oh of course FRESH CHURROS!!!

The other highlights were the special dinner nights. Both were excellent and they use the outdoor lawn space. Both the BBQ Night and Mexican Night were amazing. Beware of the Habanero salsa - IT IS FIRE!!!!

Activities:
Kids Zone - Cute little kids zone with activities and a small play structure. Your kids have to be 4+. The staff here is also super friendly and nice to the kiddos.

Swimming - That’s probably the best activity here. There’s one main pool with a swim up bar that you’ll spend most of your time. The other pools are kiddy pools really. The beach is just steps away and it’s definitely swimmable. Make sure you ask the hotel staff for a free beach umbrella and don’t get scammed to pay for one on the beach.

Spa - Highly recommend getting a massage

Puerto Vallarta Highlights:

Food:
Go to the Rivercafe. Just go…IT’s SOOOO GOOD!!!! Everything on the menu is good. It has a rainforest cafe feel.

Barcelona Tapa - Beautiful!!! The view is excellent but be ready to walk up a steeeeep hill. Food here was okay but the view makes it worth it.

Melacon Boardwalk:
Tons of shops and what a beautiful view. They also do random parades during the week which is really fun. Be ware of the cobble stone roads.

Vallarta Adventures:
We did the Las Caletas half day adventure. $150/Adult $90/Kids 4+. This provides a 45 minute catamaran ride to and from the island, drinks (alcohol) and lunch is all included in the price. Wear Sneakers (EVERYTHING is on the cliff) so you’ll be hiking. I hiked with flip flops and I almost died lol.

Manta Ray and Seal Encounter - $50/Person additional but soooooo worth it.

Kids Adventures - Ziplines, Donkey Ride and more all included int he price. Your child will have a blast. Be ready to walk a donkey and hiking up the mountain.

Only thing for this encounter was that I wish we could be there all day. The timing was too tight. We literally didn’t have time to do more than 2 activities.
