The laser welder is an amazing piece of technology. Any bench jeweler who uses one knows just how valuable of a tool they are. Need to hold something in place when soldering? Easy. Need to retip on a color stone without pulling it from the prongs? Easy. Need to fill in an engraving or casting pit? Easy. I don’t think I could work without mine anymore. This platinum ring was a breeze to retip all thanks to my handy laser welder.
