Описание: On the sixth day of our tour we bade a fond farewell to Darjeeling and travelled to Kurseong to board a special train to Ghum. Having previously motorcaded trains it was time for me to experience the journey by travelling onboard the train. Most of our group travelled in the mini buses to Kurseong, however, some of us chose to ride on the diesel-hauled train between Ghum and Kurseong where we alighted. The fun began with our special train reversing out of the dead-end station at Kurseong before reversing direction and proceeding through the bazar. I can't think of a better way to take in the everyday scenes of the local people. What a wonderful journey!
