On 09 November 2024, eight local participants from across Northumberland came together to perform a new community dance work, 'HAWAY THE LASSES' at Woodhorn Museum.
This abstract contemporary dance piece co-created by Eliot Smith commemorates the women involved in the Miners' Strike of 1984-85.
Eliot Smith Dance is acknowledges the support from Woodhorn Museum, Northumberland County Council, and Arts Council England.
