Season 1, episode 1, directed by Louis Gassin, and produced by Andy Heyward, Michael Maliani, and Robby London, with music by Jean-Michel Gairao, and Mike Piccirillo, this show was released in America to fill a slot on a kids programming block of the PAX television network (known today as Ion Television) alongside Carmen Sandiego, leaving 22nd Century Sherlock Holmes to fend for itself over on Fox Kids. The whole show was done on videotape, so all the panning shots are more fluid than the rest of the animation.

Jughead wins the prize from a local TV station's contest, which is a front for a potato invasion that incapacitates a static user with vines, and takes their form. Archie and Dilton, the only ones not seeded, scramble to the broadcast tower at the TV station to get rid of the potato minions, wake everyone from their trance, and cook the master potato alien to perfection.
