I initially wrote this arrangement for a small percussion group I used to be a part of, but my professor wasn't sold on the idea of performing something from Super Mario Bros. So I decided to do it all myself! This is the first time that I recorded live instruments exclusively, and it was an awesome experience. It definitely took a lot of takes to get the xylophone solo to sound good! Overall, I'm happy to have tried something new for this cover, and I hope this video makes your day a little better!
