All movements are safe, progressive, and adaptable, with many exercises done seated or with support, making them suitable even for beginners or seniors with limited mobility.
Over the weeks, we’ve seen real changes:
Seniors standing up from chairs more confidently
Reduced shoulder and joint pain
Improved balance and ease while walking
Smiles, laughter, and growing self-belief after every session
With Singapore’s ageing population growing rapidly, strength training and movement are key to independence and quality of life. This session is part of our small effort to support active ageing, dignity, and healthy longevity within the community.
If you are a senior, or have parents or grandparents at home, feel free to try these movements at your own pace. Always listen to your body and consult a professional if needed.
📍 Conducted at a Siglap South Community Centre in Singapore
👥 Participants: ~35–40 seniors weekly
🪑 Format: Seated & standing exercises
