Welcome To Chinese New Year Day 5. Sorry For Not Making Any Videos Since I Was Busy With Other School Homeworks But Now I am Back Again! So Decided To Filmed Another R151 Train Video But Of Course Today I Took R151 Set 967/968 Which Is The Latest R151 Trainset To Debut On The Entire North South and East West Line Fleet. This Was The 82nd R151 To Debut Out Of The Entire 106 R151 Trains Which Are Almost Getting One Step Closer To Finish The Entire 106 R151 Trains To Slated Full Service Operation By The End Of 2026 Which Is This Year. As February 2026 Is Ending In One Week Time and Date Of Uploading As Of 21 February 2026, I See How Much Train Videos I Can Make It But Yeah. This Is The Highest Set Being Use For Revenue Service. The Previously R151 Train Was Set [941/942] Which Was The 81th R151 To Debut But Was Sadly Being Detrained At Gul Circle Platform [During Its Debut Time] Where I Started Recording Here For The First Time Ever. Originally Planned To Go Towards The End Of The East West Line Which Was Tuas Link MRT Station But Then Around 6:10 PM Onwards The Train Set 967/968 Starts To Depart At Tuas Link MRT Station and Arrives At Gul Circle MRT Station Towards Pasir Ris Platform Direction At Around 6:17 PM are Stopping At Tuas West Road and Tuas Cresent MRT Station To Pick Up Passengers. The Fact Is That Gul Circle MRT Station Is The Only Elevated MRT Station To Have Stacked Platforms As The Other Non-Two Unused Platforms Were Not Being Use As It Will Be Use For The Future Tuas South Extension When It Opens In 2050 To The Public. Gul Circle MRT Station Is The First MRT Station Being Built As Part Of The Tuas West Extension Project Which Was Opened On 18 June 2017. At The Start, I Captured The Train Pulling Into Gul Circle MRT Station With The Shiny Exterior Being Seen. I Rode The Train From Gul Circle To Buona Vista MRT Station So Enjoy The Longer Train Ride For The R151 Trains. It Took Me Close To Half An Hour To Reach Buona Vista MRT Station When I Take 9 Stops Down Towards The City. I Wanted To Take It Earlier But Then I Was Having Tuition So I Lucky Could Take It After Some Time. Usually The Tuas West Extension MRT Stations Including Gul Circle MRT Stations Always Have Low Demand Because Not Much People Will Come Here and I Dislike The Train Frequency As Every Trains Comes In 15 Mins When Entering Or Leaving MRT Stations When I Explore Them Sometimes In The Off-Peak Hours. But Now In The Peak, The Train Arrival Time Have Reduced It To 3 Minutes When I Was Checking On The Passenger Information Display Screen TV. In Fact, This Was One Of The Newest R151 Batch 2 Set Being Placed In Revenue Service As It Is Eventually Going To Replace The 19 C651 and 21 C751B Trains Which Have Ran Since 1995 and 2000 Respectively and Both Of Them Were Gone At The End Of 2024 As I Got Check It On The Internet Before. The Train Motor Sound Is Quite Strong, Quite Fast Ride Too As Always. The Aircon Is Quite Strong, LCD DRMD and CLD Celling Displays Are Always On The Working Part and Even The LED Lights Were Brighter So That I Could Filmed The CRRC Changchun Train Quite Well. So The Train Ride Is Amazing and I Would Want To Ride It Again Soon! Ride Rating Is 100/100!
