Diamyd Medical is a Swedish biotech company developing precision immunotherapies aimed at preventing and treating type 1 diabetes by targeting the underlying autoimmune process. In this presentation CEO Ulf Hannelius explores type 1 diabetes as a precision immunology disease, highlighting genetic and immune heterogeneity and antigen-specific immune tolerance as a targeted approach. The session also includes Phase 3 clinical trial experience evaluating retogatein (rhGAD65), ahead of an interim readout expected in March 2026.
