I do not close my eyes and follow the world’s words,
I do not forget what is right just because of the crowd,
In this age where truth and falsehood are tangled,
I keep my mind clear and bright like a mirror.

I learn how to stand upright on my own,
When the masses walk into darkness,
Better to walk alone and remain true,
Than follow thousands and lose the way of the heart.

I know there are times I must hold a sword,
Not to harm… but to stop what is wrong,
My sword is honest and upright speech,
A clear and firm stance that does not mix with falsehood.

I hold the sword with the light of wisdom,
Cutting through ignorance, never striking a person,
I do not compromise with what is wrong,
I do not bow before the long night of darkness.
Compassion is not weakness,
Silently watching evil grow,
