Sunan Abī Dāwūd, book 1: book of purification (kitāb al-ṭahārah), chapter on making ablution with the leftover ablution of a woman (bāb al-wuḍū’ bi-faḍl wuḍū’ al-mar’ah):

• Ḥadīth #78 (ṣaḥīḥ):
ﻋﻦ ﺃﻡ ﺻﺒﻴﺔ اﻟﺠﻬﻨﻴﺔ، ﻗﺎﻟﺖ: اﺧﺘﻠﻔﺖ ﻳﺪﻱ ﻭﻳﺪ ﺭﺳﻮﻝ اﻟﻠﻪ ﷺ ﻓﻲ اﻟﻮﺿﻮء ﻣﻦ ﺇﻧﺎء ﻭاﺣﺪ
Umm Ṣabiyyah al-Juhniyyah said: ‘My hand and the hand of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ alternated during ablution (wuḍū’) from a single vessel.’

• Ḥadīth #79 (ṣaḥīḥ):
ﻋﻦ اﺑﻦ ﻋﻤﺮ، ﻗﺎﻝ: ﻛﺎﻥ اﻟﺮﺟﺎﻝ ﻭاﻟﻨﺴﺎء ﻳﺘﻮﺿﺌﻮﻥ ﻓﻲ ﺯﻣﺎﻥ ﺭﺳﻮﻝ اﻟﻠﻪ ﷺ، ﻗﺎﻝ ﻣﺴﺪﺩ: ﻣﻦ اﻹﻧﺎء اﻟﻮاﺣﺪ ﺟﻤﻴﻌﺎ
Ibn ՙUmar said: ‘Men and women would make ablution (wuḍū’) during the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.’ Musaddad added: ‘From a single vessel together.’

• Ḥadīth #80 (ṣaḥīḥ):
ﻋﻦ ﻋﺒﺪ اﻟﻠﻪ ﺑﻦ ﻋﻤﺮ، ﻗﺎﻝ: ﻛﻨﺎ ﻧﺘﻮﺿﺄ ﻧﺤﻦ ﻭاﻟﻨﺴﺎء ﻋﻠﻰ ﻋﻬﺪ ﺭﺳﻮﻝ اﻟﻠﻪ ﷺ ﻣﻦ ﺇﻧﺎء ﻭاﺣﺪ، ﻧﺪﻟﻲ ﻓﻴﻪ ﺃﻳﺪﻳﻨﺎ
ՙAbdullah ibn ՙUmar said: ‘We used to make ablution (wuḍū’) and the women as well during the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ from a single vessel with our hands dangling in it.’

‏﴿ لَيْسَ عَلَى الْأَعْمَى حَرَجٌ وَلَا عَلَى الْأَعْرَجِ حَرَجٌ وَلَا عَلَى الْمَرِيضِ حَرَجٌ وَلَا عَلَى أَنْفُسِكُمْ أَنْ تَأْكُلُوا مِنْ بُيُوتِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ آبَائِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ أُمَّهَاتِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ إِخْوَانِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ أَخَوَاتِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ أَعْمَامِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ عَمَّاتِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ أَخْوَالِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ خَالَاتِكُمْ أَوْ مَا مَلَكْتُمْ مَفَاتِحَهُ أَوْ صَدِيقِكُمْ لَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُنَاحٌ أَنْ تَأْكُلُوا جَمِيعًا أَوْ أَشْتَاتًا فَإِذَا دَخَلْتُمْ بُيُوتًا فَسَلِّمُوا عَلَى أَنْفُسِكُمْ تَحِيَّةً مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ مُبَارَكَةً طَيِّبَةً كَذَلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللَّهُ لَكُمُ الْآيَاتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ ﴾‏

‏نہ اندھے کے لیے کوئی حرج ہے، نہ لنگڑے کے لیے اور نہ مریض کے لیے اور نہ خود تمھارے لیے کہ تم اپنے گھروں سے یا اپنے باپ دادا کے گھروں سے یا اپنی ماؤں کے گھروں سے یا اپنے بھائیوں کے گھروں سے یا اپنی بہنوں کے گھروں سے یااپنے چچاؤں کے گھروں سے یا اپنی پھوپھیوں کے گھروں سے یا اپنے ماموؤں کے گھروں سے یا اپنی خالاؤں کے گھروں سے یا اپنے زیر تولیت کے گھروں سے یا اپنے دوستوں کے گھروں سے کھاؤ پیو۔ تم پر کوئی گناہ نہیں، چاہے (مرد وعورت) اکٹھے بیٹھ کر کھاؤ یا الگ الگ۔ البتہ جب گھروں میں داخل ہو تو اپنے لوگوں کو سلام کرو، اللہ کی طرف سے مقرر کی ہوئی ایک بابرکت اور پاکیزہ دعا۔ اللہ تمھارے لیے اِسی طرح اپنی آیتوں کی وضاحت کرتا ہے تاکہ تم عقل سے کام لو۔‏

‏[القرآن، سورة النور (٢٤:٦١)]‏

There is no fault against the blind, nor fault against the lame, nor fault against the sick, nor upon yourselves in that you eat from your houses, or your fathers’ houses, or your mothers’ houses, or your brothers’ houses, or your sisters’ houses, or your paternal uncles’ houses, or your paternal aunts’ houses, or your maternal uncles’ houses, or your maternal aunts’ houses, or those whose keys you possess, or [those of] your friends. There is no blame upon you whether you eat together or separately. So when you enter houses, greet each other with a salutation from God, blessed and good. Thus does God make clear unto you the signs, that haply you may understand.
