At 793.7 mm, rainfall in Chandigarh at 8-year high | Expect colder days this winter, says Met Dept

Описание: Breaking the record of the past eight years, Chandigarh received the highest rainfall this monsoon. According to the Met Department, from June 1 to September 12, it rained 793.7 mm in the city. This is a 4 per cent increase over the normal rain of 762.5 mm.
The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
