🍂 Fall Leaf Cleanup is Here! 🍂
Watch our hardworking Perinton DPW crews in action as they tackle the fall leaf cleanup! 🍁 Get ready for the 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐟 𝐏𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐮𝐩 𝐌𝐚𝐩, 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟒𝐭𝐡. Plan ahead and make the most of our leaf collection services.
Leaf Cleanup Tips:
-Collection occurs by quadrant, moving counter-clockwise throughout the Town.
-Crews visit neighborhoods every 4-6 weeks during peak times, from October through mid to late December.
-Look out for “We’re Coming Soon” signs at subdivision entrances a few days before collection.
Remember:
🍂 Leaf piles should only contain leaves – no sticks, garden material, or pumpkins.
🍁 Small leaf piles should be placed in reusable containers or garbage cans (50 lbs or less).
🍃 Leaves in bags, cardboard boxes, or tarps will NOT be collected.
⚠️ For safety, do not pile leaves in the street or around fire hydrants.
We’ll continue bulk collection until all leaves are gone or weather conditions prevent effective operations. We’ll return in the spring for any we’ve missed.
