From Feburary 1991, it's an episode of the short lived Dick Clark-hosted game show The Challengers. Based on the old 'Who, What, or Where Game" of the 1970s, this show pit a champion against two challengers (hence the title) in a fast paced trivia contestant not entirely dissimilar to Jeopardy .
The 1990-91 TV season proved disasterous for the genre, however, and nearly every show (all but one) greenlit that season was cancelled by the end of 1991. Of the five shows to debut specifically in syndication in September 1990, it lasted the longest, completing a full season order that concluded on August 2nd, 1991.
It's an incredibly fun trivia game and Jeopardy alternative, however, and had it debuted literally any other year it probably lasts a very long time. Dick Clark is, as always, brilliant. While reruns were briefly considered for GSN in the 1990s, the specific dating of each episode ultimately ruined its chances of reruns.
