Add deeper tones at the base of the trees for gentle shadows; think of it as adding just the right amount of contrast to make everything stand out. • Watercolor paper (140 lb cold press)
• Your palette - any colors you love, but I’ll be using a classic combo: Ultramarine Blue, Burnt Sienna, Sap Green, Lemon Yellow, and a dab of quinacridone rose for fanciness.
• Brushes: one big mop brush, one medium round brush, and a liner brush
• A water jar that you will forget to change and a rag for blotting your regrets away.
