I was finally able to bring the Roland JD-800 into my home studio over 30 years after I first saw one in a music store. It seemed out of reach for me but remained my dream synth for three decades. It's an incredible instrument that to me lives up to the hype. It's definitely one of Roland's finest synthesizers. I hope you enjoy this true story and the sound demos that go along with it.
