Описание: This 1970 Buick GS 455 is an absolutely stunning example of Buick's Gran Sport muscle car and likely the nicest and well-documented ones we've ever seen. In the mid-60s Buick was attempting to shake the public perception that the GM marque was boring and old-fashioned maker of conservative family cars. When the Gran Sport debuted in 1965 (at that time as an option package for the Skylark), attitudes towards Buick began to shift and the GS, as it became known by, was a stout yet somewhat of a sleeper muscle car. By 1970, performance peaked with the introduction of the GS 455, which was equipped with the new 455 Cubic Inch Big Block motor. No longer was a Buick a nice family car, it had the mean look and feel of a true muscle car. With dual functional hood scoops, cold air was dumped into the performance-oriented big block. Dressed in special trim and adorned with extra emblems, everyone knew that you shouldn't mess with the 1970 GS455 muscle cars. This particular GS 455 comes to us from a collector who took meticulous care of the car since he purchased it over 10 years ago from a west coast collector. Powering this Gran Sport is a 455 V8 engine paired with a single 4 barrel carburetor. The 455 V8 is hooked up to a numbers matching M20 4 speed manual transmission that makes this GS an absolute blast to drive! The chrome and brightwork around the exterior of this Buick is superb. Being that Buicks were considered to be luxury cars in their day, even the muscle cars typically came loaded with options. With power steering, getting in and out of those tight spaces are car shows is a breeze in this well-documented GS 455. Power brakes make bringing this big block Buick to a full stop much easier as well. A positraction rear end ensures that you'll be able to keep the rubber to the pavement. The exterior on this Buick GS455 has been refinished in the correct Regal Black paint scheme, and the paint on this car is spectacular! Riding on Goodyear Polyglas GT G60-15 bias ply tires on steel rims with Buick Center Caps, this Buick a mean stock look. The interior on this Gran Sport is absolutely stunning! With black vinyl bucket seats in the front and a black vinyl bench seat in the rear, this Buick looks just like it did back in 1970. The padded dash, door panels, and deluxe steering wheel are in fantastic condition as well. The dash is equipped with a 120 MPH speedometer, 6,000 RPM tachometer, temperature gauge, oil pressure gauge, fuel gauge, and Sonomatic AM/FM radio.
