Revolution 500SC Prototype Race Car | Ups and Downs of a test weekend in Road Atlanta

Описание: Zac Moseley and the Classic Car Club racing team went to Road Atlanta in February of 2023 for a test day in the #RevolutionRace 500SC. It was an opportunity to get some fresh drivers into the car to understand how racing in a prototype car differs from driving other race cars.

For driver and Classic Car Club team member, Zac Moseley, it was a great opportunity to dial in the set up on the vehicle ahead of the Sportscar Prototype Cup racing series, which is new for 2023. An unfortunate spin on Saturday and Sunday in two different cars required some work and parts swapping on the two damaged cars to get one back up and running for end of day on Sunday.

Through a mixture of great coaching and set up, the team was able to improve the pace and confidence from behind the wheel of the Revolution.

Classic Car Club has always been involved in racing and have driven everything from Miata's to Cup cars and even some of the other Prototype makes. We gravitated towards the Revolution 500SC because of its low cost to run, relative ease of maintenance, reliability, durability and competitiveness. 2022 was our first year in this vehicle competing in the GT Celebration series with the Revolution 500SC, but it wont be our last!

The Revolution is an all-new track and race car conceived, designed, developed and built by racers for racers. Revolution offers two models: the 500SC and 427. Utilizing a Ford-based V6 3.7 litre unit, the Revolution A-One engine has proven reliability to match its high-end performance.
