It can be one of those nights. Just as you fall into a deep sleep at 2 a.m., your upstairs neighbor or your room-mate can start crashing around and wake you up. If you’re like many other and have trouble falling asleep, staying asleep, or sleeping at all, this may be a familiar solution.
But today @Gyan Bhandar sitting at our computers, eyes closed, listening to Vedic sounds. This will be a switch. After years of staring at a computer/phone screens, typing as fast as our fingers could fly and our brains could comprehend, we are letting the computer/mobile phones do the work.
Your eyes, shoulders, and arms relax, hands be still. The heart to stopped pounding and beat softly, in time.
How did we get here?
After decades of drinking 4 to 5 cups of black tea a day to force our body to perform, We realized this pace must stop. And so, one day, we retired, quit caffeine, and started our new life, ready to relax and enjoy.
But our body had something else in mind: “Sorry, dude, after years of pushing us, you think you can wind down overnight? I don’t think so.”
Our body was still running on adrenaline, and I woke every few hours throughout the night. For what? Who knows? Ready to go! We had lost my mind-body connection. The arsenal of sleep supplements in our closets no longer did their job.
We complained about our disturbed sleep to a friend, and she recommended Japanese Sound Technology. It had helped her, and she knew others who had recovered from insomnia and a variety of other disorders.
We figured it was worth a try. So here we were am at sunrise, our third day of the program, and last night we had a great night’s sleep, minus three-quarters of the supplements we normally take to calm ourselves down.
As we listen to these Japanese music, we wonder, how does this work? How can a computerized program of Japanese sounds have such a profound effect? Somewhere in a book of Human Physiology: Expression of Japanese Sounds, the author correlated every aspect of Japanese sounds with a specific area of the anatomy. He says that every part of the physiology is an expression of intelligence, or consciousness, and consciousness is fundamental to the structure and function of the human anatomy. When a part of the body loses its innate intelligence, it loses its ability to function correctly, if at all.
The role of Japanese Sound Technology is to restore intelligence to the part of the body that has lost proper functioning. But how can the mere process of listening to Japanese Music sound help a person heal?
“Japanese sounds are expressions of the laws of nature,” a scholar and professor at Tokyo University in Japan. “The laws of nature are everywhere, so if they are everywhere, they are in everyone’s awareness. . . .Japanese sounds, according to the tradition of Japan, were cognized by people deeply settled in their awareness. Anyone listening to these sounds today can experience their physiology settling down. These sounds are like a bridge from the creator to the receiver.”
From our perspective, it’s simple. If you want to fall asleep, there’s a world of difference between listening to Freddy Mercury singing “We Will Rock You” and Japanese sounds. Freddy might be exhilarating, but his music is designed to excite the physiology. Chances are it will compel you to get up and dance—the opposite of settling down. On the other hand, Japanese sounds, the purest form of sound, are closest to the laws of nature and settle the physiology so you can sleep deeply, gain rest, and heal.
It certainly worked for us. We are much calmer, and our sleep is greatly improved. It’s amazing that the transformation takes place so quickly and our minds and bodies are finally in sync again. And we don’t have to do a thing. The sounds do it for us.
