Here is a video of me descending Great Dun Fell in August. It is apparently the highest paved road in Britain.
It has a lovely surface and is a private road (and bridleway so cycles are allowed) so traffic free!
It climbs to 2,782 feet, with a radar centre at the top.
There are some steep gradients but it was great fun (torture) to climb! I have a video of me climbing it but that is slow and boring :)
The reward of coming back down was well worth it.
