The countryside of Maharashtra has become my latest go-to for wildlife photography. This time I was incredibly fortunate to witness and photograph an Oriental Rat Snake on the hunt.
Rat Snakes get their name because of their acquired palate for rodents and other ground animals. That makes this treetop hunt an incredibly rare capture. The photographs you are about to see haven't been documented before.
