Teri Polo: 'People Like Us' TV Miniseries (1990)

Описание: Based on a novel by Dominick Dunne. People Like Us is a 2-part, 4-hour TV movie. Writer Gus Bailey’s daughter has been murdered. Upset that the killer's sentence is all too short, he begins whiling away his time following the exploits of "new money" billionaire Elias Renthall and his ambitious ex-stewardess wife Ruby Nolte Renthall.

Also falling under Bailey’s watchful eye is old-money dowager Lil Van Degan Altemus, whose son dies of AIDS and whose daughter Justine (played by Terri) marries a womanizing anchorman. The lives of everyone above converge as Bailey renews his desire for vengeance against the person responsible for his daughter's death.
