Former US Treasury Secretary Lawrence Summers says Bill Ackman is "getting a bit carried away" in his call for Harvard University to reveal the names of students who signed a statement that blamed Israel for Hamas’ attack. "I would do the same thing as he does in wanting to make sure that the people I hired weren't people who stood with hate," Summers says on Bloomberg Television. "But asking for lists of names? That's the stuff of Joe McCarthy."
