Community Christian Church (Yellowbox) at peace with abortion?

Описание: The Abolitionist Society of Chicago was present at Community Christian Church in Naperville, Illinois, to confront the church’s prolonged silence on abortion and to call attendees to love their pre-born neighbors. Our presence coincided with the church’s ticketed, Beatles-themed Christmas outreach, where we intentionally pointed people back to the Incarnation—Christ entering the world as a child in the womb (Luke 1:41–44; John 1:14).

For years, Community Christian Church has remained publicly silent on abortion and other national sins, despite Scripture’s clear commands to “rescue those being led away to death” (Proverbs 24:11–12) and to expose the works of darkness rather than ignore them (Ephesians 5:11). The church has also permitted its facilities to be used for meetings related to organizing the Aurora Pride Parade.

As is often the case, responses were divided. Some attendees affirmed the exhortation and received it with humility, while others openly defended abortion—despite God’s declaration that He knits children together in the womb (Psalm 139:13–16) and hates the shedding of innocent blood (Proverbs 6:16–17).

Please pray for those who received literature, those who engaged in conversation, and those who saw the signs—that they would be convicted by the truth, repent of indifference (James 4:17), and learn to love their pre-born neighbors as Christ commands (Mark 12:31).
