Marines with 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment participated in a Mountain Training Exercise (MTX) aboard Mountain Warfare Training Center(MWTC), Bridgeport, California, Oct. 2018.
The battalion was slipt into a force-on-force mock firefight to put into action what they learned during their MTX training. The Marines were trained by MWTC instructors referred to as "red hats". They serve as mentors stemming from the battalion to the individual Marine.
