Must Do Motorcycle Ride Down Scenic Carmel Valley Road! 😊

Описание: In this video, I travel down Highway 25 from Hollister, through King City and west to Carmel Valley Road to tour my way through a varied and fun motorcycle ride with lots of character. It's a long trip from San Jose, but totally doable as a day ride. Other highlights include Elkhorn Slough in between Castroville and Watsonville, Hecker Pass and the Elm Avenue Bridge (aka The Green Bridge, aka the Arroyo Seco River Bridge).

While enjoying those wonderful roads, I also cover a little history and background on the Green Bridge, Carmel Valley and the difficulties facing the legendary Laguna Seca Raceway in recent years. Some incredible battles have taken place there, particularly in the section known as The Corkscrew. I didn't have time to stop at the track unfortunately, but I do mention why there's very little motorcycle racing there currently and how that's come about.

This route is among the best day rides out of the South Bay Area.
