New details emerged Monday in two weekend shootings in Newport News. A fatal shooting inside Patrick Henry Mall Saturday, as well as a shooting that left a 15-year-old injured Sunday, shook the city.
Gary Carlton Moore III is in custody related to Saturday morning’s shooting at the mall, which killed Diamante Tre’veon Neal, 26.
Just one day after the shooting at the mall, a 15-year-old was seriously injured in a shooting in a neighborhood off J. Clyde Morris Boulevard. No suspect information has been released in this shooting.
