Virgin Voyages - Brunch at Razzle Dazzle & Dinner at Pink Agave

Описание: It is day four on Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady and it is another day at sea.

Rosie and Karl start their day with a nice late brunch at Razzle Dazzle. Delicious food and a cocktail each, including the Grasshopper with an actual cricket in, is a brilliant start to the day. We ate;
-Malted buckwheat waffle with pistachios, chantilly cream and cherry maple syrup.
-Apple cruffin, fairy bread and smoked cheddar jalapeño croissant.
-Razzle Dazzle Breakfast - scrambled eggs, sage Impossible patty, tomato and Yukon Gold potatoes.
-Tater-tots with vegan cheese sauce and a side of candied bacon.

Feeling super full, they play on the famous triple net, before hitting the gym for a slight nod to exercise.

They contemplate pool time but due to the crowd, decide to chill out at The Dock instead. This lovely, relaxed spot at the back of the ship is the best area onboard for a lazy afternoon. The seafood dishes were too tempting to skip and it was worth topping up their tummies on the delicious Spanish octopus with sunchokes and muhammara and grilled prawns (shrimp) with garlic yoghurt and Aleppo butter.

After a quick dip in the hot tub, they made themselves presentable for dinner at Pink Agave. Virgin Voyages elevated Mexican restaurant, Pink Agave is a cut above any dodgy attempts at this interesting cuisine. This has to be the best steak on board! We ate;
Botanas (Small plates)
-Guacamole - pomegranate seeds, jalapeño and totopos.
-Esquites - grilled corn, spicy aioli and lime.
-Aguachule - tuna, avocado and jicama.

Entradas (Medium plates)
-Enchilada de pollo - salsa verde and crema.
-Camarón Amarillo - seared prawns (shrimp), mole amarillo and new potatoes.

Fuertes (Large plates)
-Pato - roasted duck, mole ahumado and smoked yam purée.
-Bistec Marinero en Escabeche - ribeye steak, chile ancho and quesillo.

Postres (Desserts)
-Tamal de Chocolate - chocolate masa and Mexican chocolate.
-Milhojas - tamarind, passion fruit, pineapple and puff pastry.
