Newcastle heavy metal band Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs (Pigsx7) is launching a heartfelt Christmas campaign to collect unused and unloved instruments for families who can’t afford them.
Guitarist Adam Sykes and vocalist Matt Baty are calling on the community to donate guitars, pedals, saxophones, DJ decks, and more to help break down barriers to music-making in the North East of England.
Pigsx7 believe that creative opportunities shouldn’t be limited by income—and they’re turning their platform into a way to inspire the next generation of musicians.
Donations can be arranged through [email protected] or dropped off at The Cluny in Ouseburn. Each item will be safety-tested before being given to local charities just in time for Christmas.
