Music has transcendental powers, containing it within genres is nothing less than a crime. Nature did not put a boundary on it and we shouldn’t either. I have done residency for top clubs during the major part of my career. The role came with certain expectations & challenges which I took head on.
To be concise, I played a whole lot of genres, sometimes willingly and sometimes forcefully. In the end, I was the winner as it only broadened my horizon and exposed me to a wide spectrum of beautiful tunes. I can’t stress enough why it’s very important for a DJ to go through a residency, as that’s the best academy out there. Nothing comes close to teaching you about music & life, much more than a dancefloor.

Collectively putting all my experience in a box it has led me to bringing it out through this new project of mine - ‘*THISCONIC*’.

I’ve been dwelling in the past to explore new genres beyond what I’m usually associated with, bringing out this inner urge to just produce music sans genres and sharing it with everyone. Hence, under this brand I am doing music beyond boundaries. It may comes as a surprise to you, which surprised me too, but pleasantly!!

In my opinion, there are only 2 genres- good music and not so good music.. the rest you all know 😉
