The Placer County District Attorney’s Office has filed new charges against David Allen Funston for lewd and lascivious acts upon a child stemming from a 1996 sexual assault in Roseville. Funston, a 64-year-old Sacramento-area man, was previously convicted in the 1990s of kidnapping and raping multiple children and was sentenced to three life terms in prison.
