Freeride Ballantine's Ordino Arcalís 2004, was one of the first Freeride events in the andorran resort of Ordino Arcalís with top tier riders from the snowboard and freeskiing world. Sponsored by Ballantine's, this event had a magic atmosphere because the snow conditions were excellent and the riders could enjoy a great deal their runs. Riders were brought up to the peaks by heli and the judges were located just in front of the whole competition ridge. It was a special event for all those present there because of the conditions and the excellent mood for all the participants. Some of the names were: Set Aranda, Sylvain Morenond, Laura Pons, Igor Domínguez, Monica Font, Jordi Font, Lluc Navarro, Pako Benguerel, Edu Jansana, Lisi Roig, Tincho Palomeque, Núria Moga, Merlin Balfour, Gonzalo Melero, Romain Bonis, Bruno Rivoire, Javi Guimont, Lluc Ros, Ekaitz Esasi, Jorge Lambert, Helena Palanca, Gabriel Bessy, Felix Pons, Gustavo Rossi, David Pujol, Olivier Llovet, Pájaro Lasagabaster. The judges' panel was made up by Dani Lucas, Robert Lindsay and Gerard Freixes.
