How to make clay slip

A quick video demonstrating how I make clay slip. You will need:
👉 Clay, the same type that you will use the slip on
👉 Beaker
👉 Water
👉 Stirring stick
👉 Mask (to protect you from clay dust)
👉 White vinegar
I use porcelain and I make slip out of offcuts or broken items. Break the clay up into a beaker and add water and a shot of vinegar (this helps break down the clay and creates a creamy thickness). Give everything a good shake. Leave to stand for 15 minutes, shake again. Stir until it thickens into a cream-like consistency.
