Morten Gunnar Larsen presents the ragtime orchestra which he founded as as a music academy student 41 years ago in Norway. On this occasion he is using musicians available at the jazz party. A highlight for the orchestra was when they played with Eubie Blake, who had recorded from the start of ragtime era when it was the popular music of the last years of the nineteenth and early years of the 20th centuries. This concert marked the first appearance of the cello at the jazz party.
