Elvis introduced this song to his set list during his 19 August 1974 Las Vegas opening show and became a permanent fixture in the set list. From early 1975 it became essentially the fourth song of every show except when it was substituted for Fairytale, a practice that would continue until June 1977.
The evidence from many Elvis fans online forums would suggest that this song is not one that enamours many and is not the type that they would have liked Elvis to have been performing in concert. Regardless, it is one that Elvis obviously enjoyed singing which would explain why it was on the set list for almost three years.
The best renditions are mostly those early after it’s introduction, and that includes this version from Elvis’ superb 26 March 1975 midnight show in The Las Vegas Hilton.
